Eddie does his best work when selling to a highly motivated inbound prospect who is looking for immediate answers rather then waiting around for a scheduled meeting with your AE team. If you are a new company starting out and need to conduct deep discovery calls we would not recommend using Eddie.
Today’s prospects conduct their own research and prepare lists of questions they want answers to. Eddie’s studied all of these questions and has been trained on how you have successfully answered these in the past. We can also guide the users questions during the demos via suggestive prompting.
Absolutely, Eddie works well as compliment to enabling freemium access gated by a quick online walk through. Prospects that choose self sign up want to move fast so Eddie’s immediate advice and guidance is exactly what they are looking for in their journey.
Prospects can be directed to your payment gateway if you have this capability currently. Otherwise we can collect their details for someone in your team to call them and commence signup and onboarding. If they want to speak with someone from your AE team we can book them in for a second demo.
We wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t already have a mature marketing funnel with high quality inbound leads.
Eddie is not capable of:
- outbound cold calls
- conducting discovery or detailed needs assessment
- negotiating contracts
- ongoing relationship building and account management
Over the years, we’ve found getting reps on the phone sooner rather then later is the best way to train and tweak their performance. Eddie’s no different and can be tested after the first round of training which usually takes 2-3 weeks. During this time we uncover the winning formula in your existing sales CRM data. After this process we can begin replicating and reproducing your top reps performance on common buyer journeys and getting Eddie ready for his first demo.
